A rapidly expanding IT Support Company is urgently seeking a Level 3 Service Desk Systems Engineer to take on a Senior role within a young, dynamic team to provide 3rd Level Network Support!
Based in snner Sydney, this exceptional Service Desk Systems Engineer will provide Remote Server and Network Support at a 3rd level.
The successful Service Desk Systems Engineer will possess a customer focused, well organised, leadership mind set, reporting directly to the COO and acting in a mentoring role to a small team of Network Engineers.
Sound communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory, as well as a minimum of 5 years proven experience working with technologies including:
- Windows Server Platforms
- SBS 2003/2008
- Exchange 2003/2007
- Microsoft Windows Desktop & Office products and applications
- Windows XP/ Vista
- Backup & Security products i.e. Symantec Backup Exec, System Recovery etc
- Support of Internet, VPN and wireless technologies
- Cisco routing and switching
- Apple MAC OS X
The successful applicant must also possess, or be working towards qualifications such as:
MCITP
MCSA or MCSE ( later than 2000)
MCP
CCNA
ACSA
This outstanding 3rd Level Service Desk Systems Engineer will demonstrate strong Troubleshooting skills, an ability to assist fellow team members as well as work in an autonomous environment, work well under pressure, an ability to prioritise tasks and meet billing targets and excellent problem solving skills.
