A very successful SAP consultancy has an immediate opportunity for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join its consulting team in Sydney.
The role will be varied and include all the usual activity that would be expected in a busy SAP consultancy from blueprint to go-live.
- Perform detailed analysis and design, map user requirements and develop comprehensive specification requirements.
- Deliver consultancy advice to business units with regard to process improvements and/or capabilities of systems for new enhancements and releases.
- Develop project plans and implement projects in accordance with agreed scope, budgets and timeframes, with the level of quality and functionality required by the users.
- Prepare statements of work and diagnose and resolve process and application problems, management of systems to meet and exceed service level agreements.
Experience required: -
- At least 6-8 years experience with SAP FI/CO, preferable with ECC 6.0 at either mid-market or enterprise level.
- Understanding of general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, product costing and profitability analysis
- Ability to facilitate workshops to gather client requirements
- Map client requirements to SAP FI/CO functionality
- Have sound understanding of SAP FI/CO mechanics i.e. configuration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Be prepared to travel as part of internal SAP projects within the company
- Accounting qualifications
- FI/CO configuration experience in SAP R/3 ECC 5.0/6.0
- SAP implementation experience (at least 4 major end-to-end implementations)
